Emergency crews are working to contain several wildfires burning in Texas. As of March 31st, 52 active wildfires are burning 96,002 hectares (237,227 acres) of land across Texas. Critical wildfire conditions are expected to prevail across parts of the state in the coming days. The National Weather Service has issued Red Flag warnings across parts of southern Texas as of March 31. Additional wildfire growth is likely.
