Health authorities have reported an additional 25,140 cases of dengue fever in multiple states from February 1-19, bringing the total number of cases reported for the year to 55,458. This is compared to roughly 14,642 cases reported over a similar period in 2021. Goias is the most affected state (24,515 cases), followed by Tocantins (10,287 cases), Mato Grosso (7,979 cases), Distrito Federal (5,941cases), Ceara (2,328 cases), Para (1,463 cases), Paraiba (1,144 cases), Rondonia (1,088 cases), and Rio Grande do Norte (713 cases). This represents the most complete data available as of March 3.
