Protest marches are slated to take place nationwide across Chad on Feb. 15. Organizers have planned the action to take place amid a national mourning day following communal clashes in Moyen-Chari Region that left up to 15 people dead in recent days. The exact locations nationwide are unclear. However, in N’djamena participants will reportedly gather at the Fest Africa Space and finish at the Paris-Congo Municipal Stadium.
Heightened security and transportation disruptions are likely. Clashes between participants and opposing groups or local security forces cannot be ruled out.
