Protesters, affiliated with unions and left-wing political parties, are protesting near the Puerrydon bridge, in Avellaneda, near the border with the city of Buenos Aires, early October 29th. Demonstrators are demanding housing solutions in the area. The rally is cutting traffic from Avellaneda, in the Buenos Aires Province, into the city of Buenos Aires.
A large presence of security officials is in the area, and transport disruptions are ongoing. Clashes between police and protesters cannot be ruled out. The demonstration could disrupt traffic and business activities in the area for the coming hours. Plan on extra time need when traveling, and to have multiple routes.
