Both North and South Korea tested missiles on Wednesday, increasing tensions between two volatile regions. According to Japan’s Coast Guard, Pyongyang fired the first two missiles off the east coast of the Korean Peninsula five minutes apart. Seoul then followed that test less than three hours later, firing a new submarine-launched ballistic missile. These actions threaten the peace and security in the region.
