Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine passed the first round of clinical trials successfully (report). Results generated an immune response in healthy adults and was well tolerated in all 45 participants (18-55 years old). One additional participant had an allergic reaction (vaccine related urticaria – hives) and was removed from the study.
